East Liverpool Christian School is a provider school for the Ohio EdChoice scholarships & Hope West Virginia scholarship. If awarded, the EdChoice Scholarships completely cover the cost of tuition for students and, as long as residence or income requirements continue to be met, they are renewed each school year, following the student and covering tuition costs until he or she graduates from high school.

Scholarship Details:
This year, there are three scholarships available to Ohio & West Virginia students and families. One scholarship is based upon the school district in Ohio in which you live and the other is based upon household income. Both have been widely expanded this year making them available to many more students and families. The third scholarship is for West Virginia students K-12th grade.

1. EdChoice Scholarship Expansion. This is an income-based scholarship that has been widely expanded to include all students entering Kindergarten through grade 12. The income guidelines have also been expanded to allow families with a higher income to qualify. This scholarship is available to all Ohio, K-12 students whose families meet the income guidelines, regardless of the school they currently attend, even students who are homeschooled, enrolled in an online program, or already enrolled at a private school like ELCS. 2. Traditional EdChoice Scholarship. This scholarship offers Ohio K-12 students from underperforming public schools the opportunity to attend participating private schools at no cost to the family. For the 2026-2027 school year, current Ohio K-12 grade homeschooled or private school students who would be assigned to an EdChoice public school building named on the Designated School List, regardless of where they attended school the previous year, are eligible to apply.

3. Hope Scholarship. Hop Scholarship empowers families to make school choices that are right for their educational needs. The Hope Scholarship program offers qualifying West Virginia’s K-12 students an opportunity to build an individual learning experience that works best for them. The scholarship allows K-12 students to receive financial assistance that can be used for tuition, homeschool curriculum, and other qualifying expenses.
